Te'a Rama
Te'a rama is Te Fare O Tamatoa's performance group. We perform in Seattle and surrounding cities at various private events as well as community events including the Folklife Festival at the Seattle Center. Other community events include Tacoma's Ethnic Fest and First Night, Seattle's Asian Pacific Islander Month, and Bellevue's 24 Hour Relay Challange. We have performed for Grand Master Lu (founder of the Buddhist Temple) at his birthday party in Lynnwood which was also webcast to 6,000 other people in the world. We have competed in group and solo competitions in Canada (Festival Polynesia) and Las Vegas (Tahiti Taurua Nui I Las Vegas) and hope to do more competitions in the future.
